Engine switches on and doesn't go off

When car is cold the engine light is off but when hot
the engine start to vibrate more and the light comes
on and there is ticking noise in the engine.

When the yellow engine light flashes the engine starts to shake or vibrate heavily. If i take out the coil pack and alternate the springs and put it back, the engine light goes off and engine becomes stable. However this happens for a short time, after which hesvy vibration starts and engine light flashes
