I am considering a 2010 CRZ as my first car. Any thoughts please? The other car I am looking at is a 2005 Toyota Prius.

CRZ is sportier, but smaller inside. Also consider the Lexus CT200h, it has the Prius power train, but is much nicer inside and looks better outside in my opinion.

forget the Prius- do not even think about used hybrids- the Honda should be good- low miles? has it been maintained?

H-man, did I blow it? is the CRZ a hybrid too? I hate it when that happens- I could be more careful and wiki search these things, but man, that would take a lot of time- I just like shooting from the hip, what fun! so I make mistakes- but I am not mistaken about used hybrids- manufacturing the battery packs is an ecological nightmare- disposing of the battery packs is an ecological nightmare- and the irony is that people buy these things to feel all cool and everything- because they feel all green and everything- this whole 21st Century automotive phenomenon is a great metaphor for ALL the illusions and delusions that the citizens of 1st World 21st Century societies labor under- thanks for asking
