2011 SRX wont start

Asked by Elpollock16 Nov 26, 2016 at 04:46 PM about the 2011 Cadillac SRX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband went to leave for work and his SRX wont start.
We bought it 6 weeks ago from a dealership with no issues.
I have tried both FOBS and the engine will not turn over.
Just clicks. At one point it said no key was detected. It did
turn on the ACC at one point but the navigation screen
seemed to be stuck. Any ideas?

Call the people where you bought the car.ask them buttons to push on your ramote to realese scurity and alarm so the car will start

The clicking probably means your battery is really weak. Use a code saver to save the computer codes and save some trouble but you probably just need a new battery but first charge the one you have.

Make sure the fuse box is bolted down there should be three bolts they tend to come loose and the vehicle will not start
