Windshield replaced, wipers not working correctly

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My windshield was replaced and now my rainsense doesn't
work neither does my intermittent wipers work. Is this an
issue with a fuse box or do I need another windshield?

Would a "bad" windshield cause the intermittent to not work as well?

having the same issue on my 2012 srx. they replaced it with more premium glass and the rain sensors still don't work. Thinking we might need oem from Cadillac? did you get it resolved yet?

I had a new windshield put in and it resolved the issue. I guess the original one they put in was defective, in that where the rainsense was there wasn't a view point for the rainsense to see out of in order to work. I don't believe they put in OEM.

This is Mississippi the problem with the rain sensor is the bracket made to the windshield is too thick, So the rain sensor cannot detect rain on the surface of the windshield you do not need an OEM part for it to work
