Windshield Wipers stopped working!

Asked by Guru9VYK8 Jun 18, 2017 at 01:59 AM about the 2010 Cadillac SRX Premium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

During very heavy downpour on interstate,
my wipers stopped! I couldn't even see to
get pulled off the side of the road! We
came very close to being hit.

May need the wiper motor replaced. Have it checked out. Power should be checked at the plugin to insure there is not a problem with the switch or a blown fuse. But if there is a blown fuse, then that indicates a problem with the wiper motor.

Try some RainX on the windshield, you may not even need to use the wipers in the rain.
