Fx 35 camshaft sensor problem

Asked by GuruG9J17 Aug 14, 2020 at 08:51 AM about the 2004 INFINITI FX35

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a reading and it came up to change the
Bank 1 camshaft sensor.
I changed the sensor and my service engine
soon light is still on. I got another
reading and it still says the same thing that
the bank 1 sensor needs to be
changed.
And still takes about 2 or three seconds to
start when I turn the key. What is wrong?
What do I do now.

You bought an after market sensor from oreilys im assuming. Take it back and get one from the dealer and problem solved . GUARANTEED!!

Often times you need an OEM sensor rather than the cheap, inferior Chinese knock off.
