A potential buyer asked if I accept payments. Is there a secure way through
CarGurus to accept payments?

Don't do it! Chances are you will get one or two payments and then they will disappear. Tell them to get a loan like everyone else. CG's is not going to get into the middle of a private transaction like this. No one in their right mind would!
