First of all, top of what??? If the radiator is what your are talking about then several things can cause it..from something as simple as a radiator cap to thermostat to a water pump, or even a bad hose..
Overheating can be caused by several issues. Low on coolant, leaks (internal or external), clogged radiator, bad thermostat, etc.
There is a skid plate under my 2009 charger and the dealer removed to see if that was making the noise I was hearing. And now I am having overheating problems. Could that be why I’m overheating?
