1998 Infiniti Q45 loose steering.

ok loose steering can be only a few things the rack itself is loose inside and there for you have alot of slop frm right to left. the inside tie rod ends are wearing out and there for need to be replaced if you hold the wheel staright it will wonder . ot outside tierod end is bad and you can see this if you have some on turn the steering wheel and watch were the steering conects to the hub on the back of the wheel and see if there is move ment back and forth. it should be solid. the other way is take it to a tire shop and have them look at it. they might not charge you if they think there going to be doing the work
