Can anything be done to install clothes hangers in the second row of seats?

The best I can up with is a bar that attaches to the hanger hooks. It will still be behind the second row but you can hang them all the way across. Something like this one - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-Extendable-Clothes-Hanger-Bar-/121050591131? pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2f2d6f9b&vxp=mtr
We have the bar. Problem is, if it is behind the second row of seats, it is not only very difficult to put clothes on and off, it also is subject to moving cargo crushing the clothes. Need a bar across second row of seats.
We are a retired couple in the market for a new SUV for road trips, but the lack of hanger hooks or grab bars above the second row seats in the Enclave and Acadia is a deal-killer. Convenience for us while traveling is a hanging bar for clothes over the second row of seats with the area behind the second row available for our luggage, cooler, supplies, etc. Is there any aftermarket solution for this?
I was able to make a device for a universal clothes hanging rod found in most National auto parts chains, for around $15. You need 2 1 1/2" long carriage bolts, 2 flat washers size of a nickel, 2 flat washers next larger size, 2 hex nuts, 2 end cap nuts, and 2, 1" seelves. The side with the nickel size washer fits into sockets on roof liner behind back seats. See Photos.

To hang in second row use universal hanger rod found in most auto parts chains stores. Hang on handles above back doors.
Milton, newer Enclaves & Acadia's do not have a grab handle above the rear doors, they are on the vertical pillars
I'm trying to get the same thing. Is there any way that an extension can be anchored on the vertical pillars? Having the hanger bar way back just doesn't cut it. Because of the airbags my car interior guy won't touch the ceiling sides.
I took my Enclave to a guy here in Dallas that installs racks in cars for clothing salesmen and he made two threaded hooks that he inserted in a seam behind the rubber weatherstripping at the top of the door on each side and then made a bar the exact length needed to span the distance between the two hooks though I would imagine one of the extendable hanging rods sold at various places would work also. I noticed the new 2018 Enclaves have the assist handles & clothes hook back over the rear doors. Can't imagine what genius places them in the rear. As I told the dealer, unfortunately after I had bought the car, that it never occurred to me to check to see where the clothes hooks were. Didn't think to check if the tires were round either.
The grab bars on the 2018 Enclaves are poorly designed and do not securely hold a clothes bar so essentially the new Enclave still has no capacity to hang clothes. This is extremely amateurish and poorly designed.
When I called Buick customer service and asked HOW do we hang clothes in our new Buick Avenir, the service rep. asked if I would mind "holding" while she looked in the owner's manual!!!! What a bad joke.
Try this, 1" PVC water pipe
Fine for horizontal grab handle above rear doors but not vertical grab handles on what amounts to the "B" pillar
