There are a few different answers for your question, so I'd recommend checking out the Owners Manual (link at the end). If I'm not mistaking, by default so long as the key fob is near the vehicle, the door should auto unlock. If the keys are ever left in the car, when you close the driver’s door with the engine running the car’s horn with go off for just a second then the doors will auto unlock. A lot has to do with how the Infotainment System is configured and depending on what version of the Infotainment System you have in your Buick: Radio with CD, Radio with CD/DVD and MEM or Radio with CD and Touchscreen. But in the Owners Manual, the section you want to look at is called “Infotainment” & found at 7-2. https://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/buick/2012-buick-lacrosse-owners-manual/
