Sonata 2012

Asked by GuruBT2XK Dec 19, 2018 at 10:25 AM about the 2012 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday my 2012 Sonata was driving just fine, when all of a sudden I heard a
pop and all the power went off.  I could start it and drive it after a few minutes
and made it to work.   Last night on my way home, it happened again, a pop
and then no power.  We put a new battery in it, but would not start this morning.
Any ideas?

Check all the fuses and relays, the mega fuse if it has one (might be mounted to the firewall or fenderwall and not inside the fuse box), then check all the fusible links. Check interior fuses as well. If something electrical had blown, you may need to track down what caused it to blow, such as an electrical short, or problem can reoccur.
