Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am wanting to change the fuse box in the trunk BCM. Besides take the old
one out and replacing it with the new one. Is there anything I should know
before attempting to replace it. I read something about reprogramming it, but it
looks like I just take out 4 bolts and change the wires out. Can you give me any
advice?

Check with your local Chevrolet Dealer to be sure. The service department there can tell you. Don't rely on the product description. When I replaced the BCM in my '94 Fleetwood the product description said it needed to be programmed. My local Cadillac Dealer said it did not. The Cadillac Dealer was right! Hope that helps! Jim
