Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i have been having issues with my Audi A4,
lately when start the car it stays on for a couple
seconds then completely shuts off, it also tends to
occasionally misfire when I press the gas. I’m
hoping if anyone knows what the issue is.. I also
forgot to mention that when I press the gas, a lot of
white smoke comes out of the exhaust.

could likely be a cracked cylinder head. on my 2005 A4 the head was cracked in multiple spots which allowed coolant and oil to mix and get all through two of the cylinders. you can tell that the oil and coolant are mixing if it turns to a creamy/frappe color. several hundred dollar repair
