Start but shut off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car starts and shut off after a few seconds,  pump is priming on the key but
seam to stop pumping after starting. pump was changed but still same problem

for safety sake some cars had things like inertia switch in trunk needing reset after quick stop , another was low oil kill pump switch to save engine from no oil
