where can I find this thermostat

Asked by cali2467 Apr 14, 2020 at 11:21 AM about the 2012 Volkswagen Golf GTI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 gti and the motor has been replaced.(not by me). Im changing
the thermostat but I can not find the replacement. The only part # I have is for
the housing. 06j121111e. Went to VW and they cant help. Can I put a different
housing on.

If you Google the part number you have, the whole housing is available on Amazon. Just be sure the thermostat comes with it. It probably does. Hope that helps! Jim
