how to defeat the speed limiter, governor, in a 2012 subaru outback 3.6r

does anyone make a chip that actually works to defeat the speed control, governor, of a 2012 Subaru outback 3.6r limited? don't need speed lecture. my other car is a 2011 corvette z06, which does 199mph. just need an answer. I will never do that speed in the Subaru., just don't like communism, or democrats for that matter:)

No, the 3.6L is not a strong contender in the performance market as far as things like that go. The only thing I could think of is running a stand alone ECU such as AEM EMS to replace the factory one but your looking at a $2000 system just to doe 5-10 mph faster top end.
