96 subaru impreza outback, wondee if i can put a 6 gen sti motor in and what would i need to change to make it fit

Try to swap engines since my car over heated because of an old hose that ripped and
blow my head gasket and I would spend about the same to fix it or I could just buy a new
sti engine. I need to know what parts to get and what to change out

Generally, the cost of replacing a head gasket is going to be a lot less than replacing a motor. If you want a tip, try local, self-employed mechanics, versus the big chains.
