Trunk wont open and car wont come out of park

Asked by Guru99YFW2 Oct 03, 2020 at 01:31 AM about the 2012 Dodge Avenger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tried to open trunk and
the lights flashed but
didnt make the clicking
sound or open. I did
crawl behind the back
seats and pulled the lever
to manually release it
and it worked.  Then
started the car and it
wouldn't go out of park.

I’m also having the same problem with my 2010 Dodge Avenger. Let me know if you figure it out
