12 dodge charger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Took my 2012 dodge charger to get a oil change
and they rubbed my engine up to 2000 rpm. Why
did they do that? They told me because of the kind
of filter my vehicle takes. Is that true ????

2,000 rpm won't hurt anything as long as it had oil in it.
