Car won’t start after being jumped

Asked by Guru191GK Aug 19, 2019 at 07:41 AM about the 2012 Toyota Highlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We Went camping. After loading up
the car, We found out the car would
not start. We got a jump from the
neighbor camper, but we think he had
a bad cable. We got the car home at
15 mph only to discover the battery
had not charged. It’s turning over, the
alarm works, but the car won’t start.
Any ideas?

Get the battery and alternator load tested. Most auto parts stores can do that for free.
