Alternator repair

Asked by GuruHZGMM Jul 04, 2019 at 09:30 AM about the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I accidentally touched the alternator
with my wrench as I was doing final
connections to battery now the
alternator does seem to be putting
out power. Is there something inside
alternator that I can replace to get it
up and going again or should I just
replace the entire thing?
