2013 Sonota steeting problems

When I first drove my 2013 Sonata, it seemed easy to drift out of lane. I had to hold tighter than normal but after the forth day its okay. The radio sound like crap until the third day. I guess it had to get broke in.
I found this helpful from someone else. Read below. James answered about a month ago there is a huge difference between the 2 vehicle you mentioned. the new sonata you test drove has electric power steering versus the hydraulic power steering on your elantra. the elantras steering is designed to have what is refered to as automatic return on the the steering. in other words the steering wheel wants to center itself or go straight as much as is possible. the sonata has no function that does this. many people that purchase these vehicles come in with the same complaint that you have. its not broken.... it just is what it is. you were very wise not to purchase it if you werent happy. ive been a hyundai brand technician for 11 years and hold the highest levels of certifications currently available, but i cant fix whats not broken. too many people buy into a salesmans ploy of youll get used to it or it just needs adjusted to you. 1 out of 1 people think this is helpful. We just recently purchased a 2013 sonata SE. Its an awesome car. Great gas mpg, great design, we love all the room in it, but, our only complaint is the steering. When we are driving down the interstate, the car either pulls left or pulls right. It doesn't matter which side of the road we are on as I know cars tend to pull away from the crown of the road. Its really uncomfortable. The car never seems to want to go straight. Its a constant battle on the road to keep the car in its lane. Sometimes I jokingly say we might get pulled over for being in a drunk car. We contacted our dealer about it and were told that's just how the new steering system works. It doesn't seem to safe to us. My recommendation to anyone going to buy one is to get it on the interstate and drive it for a few and see what you think. If you are comfortable with it, go for it, if not, do because it will frustrate you so much. Honestly though, other than that we absolutely love the car and recommend it. Hopefully Hyundai will see this issue and find a solution to help alleviate it.
There is a 3 position software switch to adjust the steering. See your service mgr to get it changed. Fixed mine.
