Wheels

Asked by Baxani Jun 19, 2012 at 02:59 PM about the 2013 Ford Edge

Question type: General

i recently purchased a 2013 Edge and was told the 18" wheels were no longer available so i had to go to the 20" this is factory order which seems odd the wheels aren't available. how much will the ride be dimished with the bigger wheels.
also why would the ecoboost engine not be available on the AWD Limited?

from 18 to 20 there won't be much difference in ride quality and as far as the eco boost engine ford chooses to put it in the top trim level only

In doing some research here I found the Ecoboost 4 is available on all trim levels except the Edge Sport and only FWD. Am wondering if with the extra drag of AWD the little 4 just can't perform to expectations over the V6. Followed and Ecoboost Edge this morning. That rig flat gets up and gets gone! Also, have never had a problem with only FWD in our 08 Edge. Your going to really enjoy your new one!
