Was your or the other driver's insurance involved in making repairs? If so this needs to be brought to their attention. There is nothing about the "fuel pump area" that would lead a car to overheat, but you may have had additional damage to the radiator (or other parts) that went undetected.
yes, the other driver's insurance company was involved with the repairs. the car was operating fine. then there was the accident. the car still fine for about 20 miles. afterwards the car was towed to ford and it remained in their possession till I had it picked up after the body work was completed. Bottom line. the insurance company convientently see no connection between the accident and the car overheating and eventually blowing the gaskets (water in the engine). Now this beautiful car needs a new motor. what is needed is a mechanic to make the connection from accident to the mechanical damage.. . or point me in the right direction. Thank you
Contact YOUR insurance and get them to go to bat for you, THEIR insurance is not going to go the extra mile. You may also need to look into arbitration. Don't waste time or money trying to hire mechanics to make your case for you, that's what your insurance is for, or a LAWYER.
