GEM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery drians. Alt fine, new batt, etc. GEM may be draining it. If i pull out
the fuse for the GEM, what are the consequences? and, will that stop the
drain?

From what i understand from the manual and on-line sources, it regulates some of the electrical functions. The reason i ask is b/c the manual says it is on the same fuse as the RCU and the power antenna. The antenna trying to retract unsuccessfully for several hours drained the battery. Or so says the previous owner. Any ideas?
