what causes this

I just bought a 2013 Hyundai elantra,  I have no
warranty but I haven't made but one payment and
already having an issue, I crank it up in the morning
and it idles up and then comes down below
1000rpm then once I drive off to a red light it acts
like it's idling and hesitation but after a while it
does ok,help I have no warranty not because I
didn't buy one ,I wasn't offered one.has anybody
else had this problem
