Why is my ignition saying "low battery" after I put a new battery in the ignition unit?

Asked by dmillermail Feb 08, 2016 at 09:24 AM about the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed battery but no change in the "low battery" indicator. Is there a reset or something else to do other than just change the battery?

If you have a low battery light on, good chances the alternator is not working. Should get the alternator checked.
