The one year free Sirius ran out. Now I cannot get my local FM stations to stay on. They play a few seconds and quit.

Question type: General

The free time ran out.  I did not renew.  I refuse to pay for radio.  Now I cannot get my local am/fm stations to stay on the air. They quit after a few seconds.  The window says acquiring signal but never comes back on.

Take it back to the dealer. You paid good money for the Dodge and they should be there to fix it right. BTW if you call Sirius and tell them you liked there service but can't afford it they will offer you a good deal. I think I got 6 months for $25.00

Okay. Yesterday I got in the vehicle and made a phone call. (I've done this before since Sirius cancelled) After I made the phone call I just clicked the FM station just to see and it played! Is still playing. I think Sirius had it jammed to where it would go off after a few seconds just to see if they could get me to sign up with them. When they saw that I wouldn't they unjammed it.

Well, I spoke too soon. Got back in the vehicle after work yesterday. Turned the radio on. After 3 seconds it was off. Said "acquiring signal". Never did. Still doesn't work. And the darn thing will turn itself on after I turn it off. Strange. Well, it will be going to the dealer week after Easter. And they better hope they can fix it. I have natural red hair and I'm not afraid to use it.

I don't know what's happening with that darn radio! I got in the Journey yesterday after work, radio wasn't working that morning and hasn't in days. It worked yesterday afternoon. Worked this morning. WE shall see when I go out at lunch. Strange. Very strange.

Ok. I am having the exact same problem with my 2012 Dodge Journey. the stupid Sirius radio is overriding everything but I can't listen to anything on Sirius either! it just says acquiring signal and it wont quit. It also turns itself back on even after I've turned it off. Sirius radio was no help at all. Does anyone know what's going on.
