Rpm idle roaming

Asked by Tim Dec 17, 2015 at 02:43 PM about the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 13 camaro v6 and I've been
noticing at idle the rpm roams from its
normal speed at around 900 rpm to about
500 rpm then goes back to 900 as soon as
it hits its lowest point. It happens once
every 15-30 seconds or so. The only mod
is a CAI. Anyone have an idea of what it
could be?

That should be covered by the factory powertain warrany. 5years 100,000 mile warranty. Call your dealer and give them the VIN and mileage. If you have less than 36,000miles just take it in.
