Question type: Maintenance & Repair
hey all! my 2013 vw tiguan media screen went black last week. Radio isn't
working, reverse camera isn't working. Bluetooth still connects.
looking to find a fuse for this issue, can't seem to find any paper work with the
proper location for a fuse....
ALSO, i tried to "reboot" and it didn't work.... so assuming a fuse is blown.

Update, looks like all fuses are good.. under the hood and that interior compartment located underneath the wheel area. Any other ideas?

I have the same year and model of car and my screen also went black this week!
I have a 2012 and mine did the same thing. There is another fuse for the radio unit itself behind the unit. I replaced that and still got nothing. Checked and I do have power to the unit, I’m thinking my unit is bad, but I don’t wanna replace it if there is something else I’m not trying.
My experience with my 2019 Tiguan info system is a few days before the screen gone blank, I have been using the radio for over an hour while the car was stationery and engine switched off. After I re-booted the system and went on a extended drive, the system is okay again. Whether this has anything to do with it, I don't know. It is just my experience.
Bluetooth on my 2018 Tiguan paired immediately with an Android for the first 17 months. Stopped suddenly one afternoon. Since then if I draw my unlock pattern first then slip my phone in front of the gear shift it will connect in say 10 seconds. However, the Media won’t connect anymore to show a screen while using Google Drive.
when i put gear to reverse nothing comes out and stays on whatever screen i was on. so for me to reset by fuse what number did you guys use?
