2013 Volkswagen Passat

My daughter replaced the battery twice in her 2013 Vaolkswagen Passat and 3
times with the alternator.  Her battery light remains on.  Does anyone
recommend a solution?

Did you fix it by now and have the correct answer for all of us? I had the same problem with a KIA. There is a sensor in the Automatic stick shift that is meant to allow starting the car only when it is on Park. Try to replace it.
