Can I do anything to get my cruise control to work again?

Asked by Pogue Nov 11, 2015 at 06:16 PM about the 2013 Volkswagen Passat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my 2013 TDI VW Diesel Passat in for body work on the back bumper
and some damage behind bumper (fender).  I picked my car up and the cruise
control will not work and they say they are not responsible.  (worked when I
took it to them).  They probably unhooked the battery while they worked on it
(kept it 2 weeks).  I'm wondering if there is some kind or reset I am supposed
to do.

If the battery was disconnected yes you will need to reset the ECM, you will need to take it to a dealer to have it done...
