Best way to check oil level. Hot or cold?

If you can't check the oil cold a hot check after running down for a few minutes should get you close enough. This is better than not checking it at all.

    Our check engine light came on and either the fuel is "too rich", a fuel injector is gunked up or something else...per the man who hooked it up the computer.
