Car speakar muted due to water

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Day before yesterday, around 3 gallons of water spilled into my car [front seat].
After that incident, there is no vloume in speakers.

Any suggestions ?

More clarification. Did this water spill on the PASSENGER SEAT....or...the DRIVER SEAT? Under the PASSENGER seat there might be the location of the radio/sterio AMPLIFIER. I that box received a bath....you should remove this electronic device and put it in a plastic bag with about a cup of WHITE RICE. Let it sit in your warm and cozy house for about a day or two. you need to dry out the soaked electronics. Hopefully that will solve your problem.
