Fuel pump location on a 1987 ford crown  vic 302 5.0 v8
and is their more then one fuel pump

Only one location, it's in the fuel tank and you have to drop it to access the panel on top of the fuel tank. Maybe you are getting confused, but there is a fuel filter under the car.
