For Canadian owners (I think) - anyone else invited to a "VIP Loyalty" event?

Question type: General

I own a 2014 Forester that has had major oil consumption issues (about to
have my fourth engine block installed). Interestingly, I have received an
invitation from my Subaru dealership for a "VIP" event promising over market
value for my trade, a loyalty bonus, preferential financing, etc. It seems
suspicious to me that this is under the pretense that my vehicle has been
identified as one they would really like to have in their certified pre-owned
inventory (as they know my service history, I call BS).

Curious if anyone else has received notice of a similar event, especially if
your vehicle fits any of the following:
2011-2014 Forester, 2013 Legacy, 2013 Outback, 2012-2013 Impreza and
2013 XV Crosstrek

I have a theory that Subaru is quietly trying to take the problematic vehicles
from the Canadian class action lawsuit out of circulation without admitting
fault and while still making money off of the owners. Thought I'd test that
theory here. Thanks.
