what could be the problem

my jeep will sometimes cut off while i am driving down the road sometimes it
will cut back on immediately or it might not crank back up at all. Anyone know
the problem...?

the rpm will struggle and then cut off i can tell when its about to shut off like i said the rpm gauge struggles

That would most likely be the crankshaft position sensor, fault code P0320. Have it scanned for free at an auto parts store. Replace it with a good quality one as it's in a tough spot on the bell housing about where the gas pedal is, but on the other side of the firewall. You probably noticed the tachometer drops suddenly then back on. Get it fixed before it quits permanently. It may come on again when the engine cools. Make sure it shows the code P0320 before replacing it.
