2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee heat only hot when idling...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. I'm driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. When it's in idle, the heat blows out nice and warm and the temp gauge goes about halfway to 210 (the middle). As soon as I start driving, the temp gauge drops all the way to the left and the heat comes out barely luke warm. I live in NY and it's very, very cold so I'm hoping that this is an inexpensive fix. I always see the OPPOSITE problem where it's cold in idle but warms up in gear. Not sure what's going on! Thanks for any tips!
