WHERE is the clock in my Buick LaCrosse, anyway?  I have set it to the
desired time, etc., following the instruction book, but I just can't find the actual
clock anywhere on the dashboard. Hint?

Radio display? Usually there's a way to choose between the clock or radio station being played.
