It doesn't sound or fel like enough fuel is getting to th engine, causing hitchig and sputtering. What should I do? I'm 12 hrs from home

car overheated so thermostat was replaced
has not run smoothly since (yesterday)

is this a DOHC engine? are you limping along on one camshaft wacko? Obviously you've melted something, we have to find out what that is~

you may have a fuel pressure problem...disconnect the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator and note any change in speed~
