My interior lights don't come on when you open the doors?

I think there might be an override switch for your dome light. my truck has one, and if it gets pushed by mistake, interior lights stay off.

Check the fuse,& the switch button & wires in the door.

Well, the car is far too clever - I've been through the settings on the menu and found a box in the lighting section to tick and now they work thank you!
Hi I have the same problem on my 2000 s70, the lights work using the switch but they dont turn on when a door is open, can you say where can i try to search for the source of the problem?

You need to go to the computer menu settings in the centre panel and find it in there and tick it! Mine also chooses whether or not to turn on defrost at certain temperatures on the windscreen - although that is more sensible!
