02 jeep liberty throttle body

Asked by poetloves Nov 27, 2017 at 04:39 PM about the 2002 Jeep Liberty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had a 03 motor put into my 02 3.7
liberty. Seemingly alot of wires weren't
plugged up properly. There is a spot on the
throttle body when the engine is on that
seems to be making a vacuuming sound and
when I hold my finger over it, the car cuts
off. I can't seem to find any hoses that would
connect to it or even where it would connect
to. I attached a picture and thank you guys
for any input on this.

if someone installed it and it doesn't run right then bring it back to them , if that doesn't pan out then you'll need a technician to get it running right ,

I'm taking a wild guess.... does your A/C- heater change functions properly? could be the vacuum line that controls changes in you A/C- heater system... look for a connection on the fire wall.

You are missing a PCV valve , and the hoses that go with it. It goes from the back of the head, to the pcv valve, and a short piece of hose from the other end of the pcv valve,to the air plenum box.
