Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Missmatch between the chip in my key and the replacement pcmso the security
system shuts the car off after 3 seconds. I don't have the pin# for the key as the
car has 200k on it and has been through several owners.Money is a big
concern as I'm on Social Security but desperately need the car to get to the
many doctor appointments that I have. (getting old is a bitch) Any fixes?

No getting around it, but you need to program the new PCM to the car. Your mechanic or Jeep dealer can do that for you. Have someone come out to the car or have it towed.
