2014 GMC Terrain starter relay

Asked by cocojas Jul 21, 2015 at 06:04 PM about the 2014 GMC Terrain

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Four times now I have been stranded. First two times I was told it was a faulty starter
relay. Now they ar telling us someone is getting under the hood, pulling out the starter
relY, clipping the prong (just a bit) putting it back and then after we drive it, the slightly
clipped prong jiggles and breaks completely...then the car will not start. This is the most
absurd thing I have ever heard. HELP??!!

If you are going to the dealer you bought the GMC from and they do not seem to fix it, have you considered going to another dealer? This should be covered under warranty BTW. There are also independent certified garages that cover your warranty work. Yes it is absurd.
