2014 gmc terrain settings

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace the battery in my 2014 gmc terrain. Since
then my units option is gone in my menu and now the
settings are in kilometers instead of miles per hour .
Anyone know how i can get my units option back to change
that?

No. The owners manual tells me how to select units in the menu but the problem is the units option is gone. Now everything is in metric on the car and I can't switch it back because that option isn't there. I was wondering if someone knew of someway to reset it

Go to the menu on the dash. Stroll through and you should find the one that gives the options for MPH or KPH. As you push the second button from the left, the menu on the far left is what you push and the second from the left is the navigating one. Hope that helps. And yes it is in the car manual.

Yes. As I stated before the option to select that is gone in the menu. I'm very aware of where that option is supposed to be, yes you're right it is in the manual as to how to navigate through the menu however the settings on the entire car had changed. I actually had to take it into a gmc dealer and have them hook it up to there program and reprogram all of the settings

Ok, I miss read the question. Sorry. Next time, take it to Canada and trade it. that's what they use up there. Have you had any work done on the GMC lately where the battery was disconnected, or had it jumpstarted so the computer got a flash? It sounds like something happened to the computer as it got a wrong signal and it's programing was wiped out. Seems that year fro 2013 to2015 had some electronic issues or gremlins causing hear pulling issues. Glad you got it reprogramed.

Mine won't switch to that option now either, the one that shows the measuring scale, tire pressure and oil life. Your comment is the only place on the internet i can find any one even talking about this, any chance you found out how to fix it?

I havent had any work on it and And my battery hasn't been touched, it just is gone. Mines a 2017
