014 Dodge Caravan under 55,000 jumps forward when stopping

Asked by GuruSRB55 Jun 12, 2019 at 04:23 PM about the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Van has been jumping forward when stopping like it wants to keep going. Dealer has
had it now for one week during which they were to take it out a few times to try to
recreate this intermittent issue but as yet have NOT EVEN TAKEN IT OUT ONCE! They
say cannot fix it if no engine light showing as likely will not show on scanner (which
will cost $140 if nothing found to be fixed under warranty).  It is scheduled for scan
next week as last resort as, of course, warranty expires July 8th !!! So disillusioned!
Someone please help.

Dealer finally experienced the jumping when braking and says he needs to order a kit and do a partial transmission rebuild. We certainly hope this fixes the issue.
