My wife's 2014 equinox is having starting issues. The key turns and power comes on but does not turn over. If you try two or three times and hold the key in turnover position it will finally get the gusto to start. Any suggestions?

Sounds like may b starter, but seems to new to b having those issues. Before u go messing with, Its no longer under a warranty? You could check starter connection and/or take out starter and have it tested, but if it is bad only sometimes it may not test bad. You could jack it up and secure it well than listen, if/and wen it doesn't start do you hear it sticking at that location, even try tapping on it, sometimes they can b unstuck by doing this

also, an ignition switch could cause this. but this vehicle should be under warranty, take it to the dealer and let them spend the time and money.
U could also go rent fuel pressure gauge tester at auto store and test yourself. Look online for pressure specs
