Front tire placed on Back

Asked by Bonnieadele Jun 09, 2018 at 07:13 AM about the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had new tires put on Mercedes C250.
They put one front tire& rim on back of car
and 1 back tire&rim in front.  I was not
aware until someone noticed  the next oil
change. They moved the tires to correct
position and said it would not cause
problems, Yesterday I had a huge blowout,
could this be due to the improper
placement of my tires?

Unlikely, Did you ever hear rubbing when braking or cornering? What tire blew out?
