Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a Jeep Cherokee 1990 with a 96 motor.
My jeep keeps shutting off after it starts. And when

Check your over heat guage. Your thermostat may be bad. Mine was the. Thermostat. When the engine gets to hot it shuts off.

Hi Robin. I failed to mention that the thermostat is also brand new. Thank you for your insight though.
